What seafarers usually ask before they sign up on Salpare.
What does it cost the seafarer?
Nothing. Salpare is free for candidates: no subscription, no commission on the berth, no cost to receive offers. Companies pay only when they find the right crew.
Who can sign up?
Seafarers in operational, deck, engine, hotel and admin ranks — across yachts, merchant ships, cruise and offshore. We open new categories gradually; if your role isn't there yet, drop us a line.
Do I have to rewrite my whole profile by hand?
No. We start from your CV: upload once, we structure it for you, and you review. You only edit what actually needs an update.
How does matching with companies work?
Companies post positions and only see candidates compatible by rank, certifications, languages and availability. You choose which applications to send and which contacts to accept — no out-of-context auto-proposals.
What happens to my data?
Your data stays yours. You can delete your profile at any time, export everything you uploaded, and revoke access from companies. EU servers, GDPR by default.
I'm a company — how does it work for us?
Head to company.salpare.app. You post positions, receive filtered applications and run shortlists with your team. We invoice only on confirmed hires.
